If you have any DTX Module from Yamaha , then you know this is the only hi hat pedal that will work correctly . Yes I have tried other pedals and they don't work . Only Yamaha hi hat controllers work with DTX 500 and above Modules . B&H has the Lowest price on this pedal . Pedal works great, open , half open , closed and foot splash or foot hit . Quick shipping and great packaging . So if you own a Yamaha Module and you need a hi hat pedal , look no further . 5 |

The Yamaha YVC-1000 is top-of-the-line. We have a 15x35 foot conference room with about a 20-foot table in the center. We tried other products and just didn't get good enough microphone levels. The speaker is very loud and the included microphone is excellent. We've added one more microphone for extended coverage. I think the best feature is the built-in auto-tuning. Very slick and actually works very well. 5 |

This is my second keyboard sustain pedal, the first was a yamaha fc3 (or something of the like) I stole from my friend and he stole it back... So I had to find something comparable, but I didnt want to spend big bucks. Alas, for the price of next to nothing, I found the SP-2. Works equally as well. Why spend more? Furthermore, some of you have commented about how this sustain pedal doesnt feel true to touch or is delayed, any comments regarding a sustain pedal cutting out, or being oftime is more likely a cause of poorly built I/O or a undeperforming CPU. With any sustain pedal being more or less an On/Off percentage based switch (with very limited circuitry), this really shouldnt be an issue of the pedal. I have had no problems with the SP-2 and dont expect them. Nice job M-Audio!(or should I say AVID?). 5 |
