Yamaha Microphone Stand Adapter For S15

It fits my S15 which is what I needed.

This stand works great with the correct adapter to get a lightweight microphone 12’ in the air. Works for orchestra recording.

I bought this adapter to fix a small LCD projector to a microphone stand. Both the 1/4 screw and the ball and socket give a positive connection and lock firmly making a sturdy stand for this very small projector.

I built a mount for my kayak using a flexible goose neck microphone stand. The camera to microphone stand adapter was just what I needed to finsh the project. I couldn't be any happer with the product.

This item is very sturdy and can be used for a variety of purposes. It has a 1/4 stud and fits a 5/8 light stand. An adapter that fits the 1/4 stud allows a microphone to be attached to a light stand.

Even though my Blue Yeti microphone comes with a deluxe, heavy black anodized aluminum stand, I like this one better. The Blue Yeti mic stand is tall, and the mic blocks too much of the view of my monitor. This stand, on the other hand, is the perfect height. The bottom of my microphone is barely 2 inches above the desk. It's amazingly simple to deploy, with three legs that feel like metal, maybe steel, I'm not sure. The little footpads grip the desk nicely. If you want to mount the mic directly to the 5/8 adapter like I did, you will need to purchase a right-angle mini USB adapter, because there's not enough clearance between the bottom of the mic and the stand for a conventional mini USB plug.

I bought this adapter to use with a TAMA microphone stand and could not be happier with it. The stand was high-quality, but it lacked the necessary adapter to use with American microphone mounts. This adapter definitely solved the problem, was priced low and shipped free. I am a very satisfied customer!

This adapter was for connecting a microphone quick release to a light stand for mounting a Rode NTG-2 mic shock mount. Now I can quickly change from a boom stand to a light stand when the boom is not necessary. It's great that B&H sells little accessories to make the big items work, yet I did need to call them to find this one. I almost ordered it form Amazon but the shipping was a deal breaker so I waited until B&H opened and found the item plus the shipping was free. See photos below for how I adapted it all to work together.

Connecting my new USB microphone to a iPhone stand is not easy unless you can find the exact adapter. It was easy to find on the B&H site and the part they shipped was exactly as described.

This is a very well-thought out and well-made device. Every time I look at it, I envision new ways in which it can be used to mount my iPad Pro 12.9" tablet. A second set of gripping arms is provided for smaller tablets. If you remove the clamp assembly from the 360 deg. pivot, the tablet adapter can be attached to a standard microphone floor stand, table stand or microphone boom. Also, you can make a custom mounting bracket and attached the tablet adapter to the custom bracket using the threaded bolt from the clamp assembly. Its use is limited only by your imagination.
