I've had this Sony stereo receiver for a few days now and it has surprised me in a very good way with performance for the price. I'm comparing this receiver to a Yamaha receiver that costs more than three times as much and the Sony sounds as good, if not better than the Yamaha unit, and both sound very good to my ears (paired with Q-Acoustics speakers). For listening to music in 2022, this receiver has just the features you need: phono input for vinyl enthusiasts (phono inputs have all but disappeared from stereo gear), bluetooth for streaming from phones, tablets and PCs, and above all, great sound quality.

Perfect replacement chord for some stereo receivers; in my case an RS 700 Yamaha receiver. Also works for some Fender guitar amplifiers. Did the job perfectly.

I replaced my old Yamaha Rx-A2080 with New Yamaha RX-A6A which is flagship model. I'm really impressed with this Av receiver, sound quality and video quality is awesome. Very powerful Receiver. My 5.1 setup is Klipsch floor-standing RF-7 III Klipsch center channel RC-64 III Klipsch surround RP-600M II SVS subwoofer PB16-ultra. I would highly recommend RX-A6A for everyone.

I have a Media Center, Windows Home Server, BluRay player, APC UPS clean power, Yamaha RX-V 659 and Yamaha RX-A 3010 and last but not least a Gigabit TP-Link switch. It all fits nicely (check out the pics). I took the deal which included the five shelves and five panels which I highly recommend considering the price of individual components. I got delivered in about a week (in VA). This is a great deal for the price. The fans on top are noisy but honestly, if you want ventilation, there's going to be noise. My setup is in a separate room so don't really care about that. Maybe an upgrade would consist of a thermostat (if temp in case reaches x degrees, then fans kick in for ex). If you plan on having this in your living room and run the fans, well don't complain. I REALLY do love the side panels and back doors that can be entirely removed. This has made my setup a lot more easier. I did had to buy banana plugs as wiring the receivers became arduous (besides, you need banana plugs always, just for the name, I mean come on). Note that there are permanent removable metal panels at the very bottom for all these wires... very handy. All in all, five stars for product AND service.

I bought this to replace an RX-A2A which was having some settings issues. Love Yamaha products, this is a super A/V receiver. Easy to setup, terrific sound in all modes. Works nicely with Apple TV and a Sony XR-65A80J TV - clear 4K picture from 4K sources, and Dolby Vision works as it should.
