Yamaha Sound Bar Wireless Rear Speakers

I had a Yamaha sound bar that I thought was good but this Vizio blows it away. The wireless back speakers a a big plus for me. Having to connect wires to the wireless subwoofer is no big deal to my set up.

Perfect addition to the ultra sound bar & bass 700 module. I have seen reviews that say the rear surround speakers are not necessary with the ultra sound bar however after having the ultra sound bar for 2 weeks before ordering the 700 rear speakers, I will emphatically dispute that claim. The 700 rear speakers complete the package and the listener is only getting half the effect without them. They pair easily and work seamlessly with the Bose app.

It provides an exceptional surround sound experience with Dolby Atmos, completely changing how I enjoy movies and TV shows. The mobile app's ability to enable surround sound across all connected speakers was an unexpected but fantastic feature. Through the rear speakers with this feature enabled, it was nice to have a speaker closer to hear from than the soundbar below the TV. Of course, this will vary based on the size of your living room, but for me, it was beneficial! The profile is slim; it is taller than my prior sound bar, which might block your remote input if the sound bar sits below your TV versus wall mounted. I appreciate that the sound bar tells you when it is receiving a Dobly Atmos signal; I noticed this varies from streaming apps. The use of AI to calibrate the speakers based on their placement was impressive, and the software lets you test the new calibration or go back to being uncalibrated to see the difference! I did buy two speaker stands for the rear speakers to improve the setup. The process of setting up the rear speakers was straightforward, and the stands provided stability and improved the overall sound quality. Another use of AI in the speaker is the ability of the system to select the correct sound profile versus manually selecting it. One thing I would like to improve is the display. Instead of showing Optical output or eARC, you can customize the digital display to show, say, TV or whatever the source was.

Sound bar sounds amazing. Impressed how much bass the soundbar alone has. I also bought the sub and 2 rear speakers and the whole set up sounds amazing. Definitely recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great sound bar, the detachable rear speakers allow you to place them anywhere you like to enhance your listening experience. I am personally using this sound bar in the living room with a 60" tv, the audio quality makes it feel like you're in a movie theater.

I am extremely pleased with the sound quality for the price. I use it to enhance rear facing speakers on my Samsung TV. Often times I just use the sound bar alone. Also able to play music on it via Bluetooth from my iPad. Not much else is there to say other than the sound quality is terrific for a 20 inch sound bar. I highly recommend this unit.

Having the subwoofer and rear speakers as wireless is such a great feature to eliminate having cords all over the room. The sound is very clear and crisp. The Bluetooth connectivity is quick and simple. Love being able to connect my phone to listen to music. The bar is a great size and weight. The battery on the portable rear speakers is a great amount of time. The recharge time is great too! Very satisfied with this sound bar!

This sound bar replaced a receiver based system wit rear speakers and a sub. It performs and sounds better.

Had this V serried 5.1 sound bar with rear speakers and woofer couple weeks now and have been pleased with the performance. Love the voice enhancement function. I can definitely hear and better understand the voices.would definitely recommend this to anyone with problems hearing the people speaking on TV. The surround sound is great also.
