Yellow Business Card Holder

This a great minimalist card holder for the tech or business professional!

This is a well designed card holder.

This is a reasonably sized case that fits in my closet about the size of a business briefcase in width, and about 7 inches deep. I used to keep all my lenses and other photo-related gear on the shelves in my walk-in closet, but it didn't take long for the equipment to overwhelm the space. It wasn't ideal, nor was it safe for my gear. so that is why I purchased this case, and I'm glad i did. Now my gear is in one location that I can move to somewhere else if need be, and I can find quickly. The yellow case is easy to see inside a dark closet too - that's why I went w/ the yellow over the black. I knew I'd trip over a dark case eventually as it sits on the floor of my closet, next to a suitcase. This Pelican case has very strong, durable snap locks at the handle that ensures it is 100% closed and won't accidentally open. And just like most of my camera bags, it has velcro dividers that make it easy to customize to fit the gear (or tools).

Card arrived 2 business days after ordering, B&H also called and verified my order before they shipped it out which I thought was nice. The card runs great, I can pretty much run any game maxed out settings on 4k getting over 100 frames. Temps on the card also stay pretty low.

I set the white balance with this card to take some shots in the house without flash. Normally I would get a heavy yellow cast without flash, but setting the balance cleared that up. I could have used a preset white balance on the camera but this allowed for more accuracy. It did seem to me that the color came out a little on the flat side, but I guess this is what it should do. Preset balance settings can warm up pics in varying degrees, but this results in WYSIWYG. It isn't compact, but a person could always cut it to their desired size.

Does Pelican put out poor products? This card holder is fantastic!

It's a headphone holder. It holds headphones. The business end is rubberized plastic and just big enough to fit two Sennheiser HD280 sets side-by-side without much cramping. The clamp has a plastic bit on the pipe bolt so it won't damage the medium, but hey - it's plastic. Don't over-tighten or you'll regret it. Get a bunch, they're useful.

I really needed a smartphone holder to be mounted on a tripod, for Zoom / Skype for business conferences and remote yoga/Pilates lessons during the coronavirus pandemic. That one is really good, all-metal and lightweight, compact, with smoothly moving parts to be widened in order to hold phones of different width. Easily mounted on a standard QR tripod plate. Very recommended.
