If you know, you know. This microphone is the best you can get. I use it for podcasting as well as some video work. Invest in your equipment.

I've used lot's of recording mics. AKG cardoid, Yeti mic, and rode mics. This is the best mic I've ever used for podcasting. Great tone. Will be buying a second one soon.

This is the 2nd Yeti Pro mic that I've gotten and it is perfect, especially for the price, versatility, and ease of use. I use it for everything from podcasting to music demos with vocals and acoustic instruments and the audio is always crystal clear. You honestly can't go wrong with Blue, they've become a household name for a reason. Do yourself a favor and pick one of these up or any of their USB mics, they're worth every penny.

I really tried to find a better USB mic for podcasting in the same price range, but i couldn't. The Yeti works like a charm. Plug and play, instant upgrade from my previous setup. Useful mute button, no delay monitor and very good sound quality. Stop searching. You found it.

Perfect for podcasting and recording videos. This mic is build much better than the Blue Yeti. Over time, you won't have to worry about the cord connection loosening at the bottom (which will affect your audio quality) like you will the Yeti. Samson was the first to market with the USB mic (from what I've read), and this model will not disappoint if you're looking to stay within the $100 range.

This is plug and play goodness. My son was podcasting within minutes. On a par with Blue Yeti but much smaller and portable. Mute button is easy to use and lite is note distracting. Very happy.

I use my Blue Yeti mic for podcasting and for voiceovers of online tutorials. So far, I have been very impressed with the Yeti's capabilities. I'm an audiophile so I'm pretty critical when it comes to recording, especially the human voice. For me, the Yeti shines when used in Cardioid mode. The vocal timbres are just right and require little post-processing, if any, as long as you have a decent recording environment. What's amazing is that you can literally plug the Yeti into any open USP port and start recording straight away. No downloads, no drivers, no setup. Using the open source Audacity program, recording is literally a matter of doing a few mouse clicks. This is a heavy mic which has its pros and cons. If you're recording on a desktop, you'll appreciate the solidity of the construction. It's a very sensitive mic and you need a solid base to dampen any vibrations. At 3 lb, it's not the most portable mic though. Overall, this mic gives excellent value for your money.

Use the Yeti for VO work and podcasting. Extremely versatile with a decent, rich sound for the price. The only knock is the size and lack of portability, but the value is amazing.

I originally was looking at multiple products to complete a portable podcasting rig that didn't sound like garbage. Combined with my Macbook Air, the Yeti net ALL my needs! From an impromptu acoustic guitar jam to one on one interviews to a round-table style panel discussion, The Yeti has made all of these a snap. Plug in and record. Done!
