You will think the box is heavy when your Blue Yeti arrives... that isn't packing material... your new microphone has some serious heft to it. The Yeti is sturdy and tough. You will love the quality and the ease of use. In my opinion, the best value out there for this price. 5 |

I noticed one of the other reviews compared the microphone and gave it a lower rating because it didn't match the NTG3. This isn't even a fair comparison as the NTG3 is in a much higher price and performance bracket. In it's price range the NTG4 is a workhorse mic. The NTG3 is the next step up. I chose the NTG4 and not the NTG4+ because lithium batteries eventually wear out and I prefer to invest for longer term use. 5 |

I have a u87ai microphone and this did not fit it. There are plastic supports on the rear that do not allow the mic to fit at all. I did not knock the rating though since it does seem well made, but I bought the WindTech Pop Guard (PG-2000), also from B&H, and that fit perfectly. I saw no reviews by u87 owners so this should help other users who are looking for something similar. 5 |
