[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Yeti GX Dynamic GB Gaming Mic with LIGHTSYNC is a powerful microphone that stands out with both style and performance, catering perfectly to gamers, streamers, and content creators who need clarity and versatility. The Yeti GX’s sound quality is exceptional for a gaming mic, capturing rich audio with impressive detail. The dynamic capsule is designed to focus on voice clarity while minimizing background noise, which is perfect for those intense gaming moments when you want every word heard. The cardioid pattern is optimized for direct sound capture, making it well-suited for gaming or streaming setups where other noises might interference. The LIGHTSYNC feature takes aesthetics to another level. It’s customizable, allowing you to sync lighting with your setup or gameplay, and adds an engaging visual element to your stream. Whether you want a subtle glow or a more dramatic effect, the RGB customization options make the Yeti GX a dynamic addition to any setup. This microphone feels solidly built with a sleek, matte-black finish that’s both modern and durable. The onboard controls are user-friendly, with simple adjustments for volume and gain, ideal for quick changes in the middle of a game. Plus, the mic’s mute function is highly responsive – a thoughtful touch when you need a quick pause. One of the highlights of the Yeti GX is its plug-and-play functionality, which is compatible with most systems right out of the box. The USB connectivity ensures a hassle-free setup with minimal latency, a must-have for live streaming or recording.

Bought this to use with my Yeticaster setup (Blue's Yeti microphone, compass tube-style broadcast boom arm, and Radius III Shockmount). Wasn't sure how the mount would work with my tube-style arm but was pleasantly surprised. Easy installation, robust & sturdy construction and ideally compliments my equipment in both form and function (see pictures). Love it!

This is a good mount for the Yeti nano too. I really like it to keep the cable properly connected without damaging the cable. Also, the shock mount is adjustable too.

I had a Blue Yeti for the longest time and absolutely loved it, but I hated carrying with me everywhere, as I travel quite often. So when the Nano came out I had to get it. The size difference is certainly noticeable. Its much lighter and fits perfectly in my case compared to the Yeti. I thought I would miss the Gain knob on the back, but think I actually prefer using the included Sherpa software to control the Gain. In fact, I use the software on the Blue Yeti now as well. I definitely recommend the Nano.

I bought a pair of these to compare with manfrotto's Nano clamps. As described in nano review, I use flashlights for macro setup along with a Giottos micro ball head, manfrotto flex arm and superclamp.I have also used them for precision balancing on my digiscoping setup. These clamps aren't as pretty as the Manfrotto, but they do the same job, cost less and are slightly more compact due to the sliding tightening handle. With their more industrial look, I won't feel too bad if they end up out in the wood shop with some of my other misused camera gear.
