I decided to purchase a Blue Yeti Pro mic as I was making a music video for a school project and needed a relatively easy to use mic to record decent quality recordings. I decided to go with the Blue Yeti Pro from all the positive reviews given on it so far. It was recommended that I buy the Pro version of this mic over the normal one as there is a difference in sample rates. Basically, this mic is considered better for recording acoustic instruments. The Blue Yeti Pro is VERY easy to use. Plug it in and off you go! For a usb microphone the sensitivity in which it picks up noises is also really good. Every time I take in a breath, the Blue Yeti Pro records me doing it! A little embarrassing, but goes to show the great recording capabilities of this mic. The build quality of this mic is exceptional and is securely packaged in the box. I even had a little bit of trouble better the mic out of the moulded Styrofoam! Having the four recording settings is really handy and Blue makes sure you know which one is which with a well written concise manual talking about the settings. The only possible downside of this microphone is the issue of the low gain settings that many buyers may complain about. However, on the mac it is an easy fix. All you have to do is to click 'go' in the toolbar at the top of the screen, click on 'utilities' and find a application called 'Audio MIDI Setup'. Make sure the mic is connected to the mac before opening it up. Click on 'BLUE USB Audio 2.0' and turn the input and output settings up to the very right so that the values should be at 1. With that adjustment, the microphone should have more gain, so you don't have to turn the gain knob up all the way in a desperate bid for more gain. The Blue Yeti Pro is also a fairly bulky, heavy mic. But since I don't move it around much, for me at least, this is not an issue. 5 |

The Yeti USB Microphone is easy to use, it plugs right into the USB port of your computer, you press a button and you're ready to go! I used it on a three-way Skype conversation for a podcast and the sound quality was great. It's definitely a great tool for capturing high quality audio. 5 |

Whether you're looking to record yourself playing instruments, singing, or podcasts, the Yeti offers the best bang-for-your-buck when it comes to USB microphones. Using the microphone couldn't be more simple; just plug in the USB cable, open recording software of your choice, and in minutes you'll be recording some surprisingly clear and crisp audio. On the topic of audio quality, one must mention the top-notch audio recording capabilities of the microphone. The Yeti uses a three-capsule design which allow for a wide array of recording patterns. The audio comes out well-balanced, picks up bass well, and produces most frequencies with excellent clarity. With that said, do not expect it to be able to record CD quality audio, but for a USB mic, it sure has just about every other beat. The only con I can really think of is the Yeti's size, which might make it difficult to transport. With that said, the Yeti is very well built and features a rugged metal body and stand. 5 |

Ok so I was invited to do a podcast with my associate for our website DroneVibes.com and I needed a good mic. He recommended the Blue Yeti USB Microphone to me. Not taking his advice solely at face value without a little research first to see if I could maybe get something better I started reading all the reviews on the Yeti microphones and others. All roads seemed to lead here to the Yeti mic though with so many positive reviews. I did some more research on Blue's website and around the web. After hours of research it came down to exactly what he recommended which is this microphone! I could have saved hours of time just listening to him but what fun would that be. The chase is half the fun after all, right? So I am using this microphone for podcasting as well as phone calls over the PC. The quality is great. The mic is sensitive enough to pickup the smallest of sounds so make sure you have a quiet environment depending on what your use case is of course. I am using an Auphonix Pop filter with the mic which seems to work well. Other than that it is stock setup. The setup and use is a piece of cake. Plug into the USB and off you go. For those who have no idea about this mic you have just a few things you can interact with. 1) Adjustment of the mic angle. 2) Mute button 3) Directional sensitivity settings 4) Volume knob 5) There is an output for a headset where you can monitor the audio. You can also use this to listen to music or any other sound off your PC (I listen to music via some Audio Technica headphones hooked up to the Yeti Mic That's about it. The construction is first class on this thing. It looks great on the the desk. That's about it. A great quality Microphone. Thanks B&H! 5 |

Even though my Blue Yeti microphone comes with a deluxe, heavy black anodized aluminum stand, I like this one better. The Blue Yeti mic stand is tall, and the mic blocks too much of the view of my monitor. This stand, on the other hand, is the perfect height. The bottom of my microphone is barely 2 inches above the desk. It's amazingly simple to deploy, with three legs that feel like metal, maybe steel, I'm not sure. The little footpads grip the desk nicely. If you want to mount the mic directly to the 5/8 adapter like I did, you will need to purchase a right-angle mini USB adapter, because there's not enough clearance between the bottom of the mic and the stand for a conventional mini USB plug. 5 |

I use this mic stand with the Yeti THX-Certified USB Condenser Microphone, and even though the mic is quite heavy, the mic stand is still stable and secure. It's also easy to adjust. Setting it up and taking it down are fairly simple as well. From my experience, for people from 5'1 to 5'10, it worked fine, and when we were playing instruments, it was easily adjustable to a lower height. 5 |

The Blue Yeti USB microphone is perfect for audio recording needs. I principally use it for audio recording of my voice for use in accompanying video instructional procedures for industrial clients. The multiple settings for microphone pick up as well as on-mic gain adjustment and headphone connection is an ideal setup for me. The Yeti microphone comes with a heavy base and USB cord and was very easy to set up in windows 10. The audio software I use is Audacity. 5 |

I wasted a lot of money trying to find the right microphone - then I discovered the Blue Yeti. USB connectible and sound quality was a must. This microphone is superb! I'm grateful to have found it and to have great sounding recordings at last! 5 |

I wanted a shorter cable for my Blue Yeti USB microphone because I often use the mike pretty close to my computer. This cable is perfect for that. 5 |
