THOUGH THE IR FILTER DOES AS STATED IT HAS SOME LEARNING CURVES TO GET OVER. 1.CAN'T SEE WHAT YOUR TAKING A PICTURE OF UNTIL IT SHOWS UP ON YOUR VIEW SCREEN, MAYBE. 2. EVERYTHING MUST BE DONE IN MANUAL MODE. 3. TWO KEY THINGS TO REMEMBER IS ISO MUST BE FASTER AND F-STOP MUST BE WIDE OPEN OR WHERE YOU THINK IT LOOKS BEST. 4. YOU MUST TAKE MANY SHOTS TO DETERMINE WHAT LOOKS BEST FOR YOUR PHOTO. 5. IF YOU USE AUTO IN ANY MODE YOU WILL GET A VERY DARK PHOTO, NOT WHAT YOUR LOOKING FOR.

Another Sinui product that appears to be well built. I originally thought I'd use this with my Sinui Monopod, but have since changed my mind and will instead use it with my Sinui Tripod. Since it's a 2 way head, it obviously doesn't have the same versatility as a ball head (quick landscape to portrait mode) but there is a way to change the axis of the movement if portrait mode is needed. It just takes a little minor adjustment. It's a keeper.

Appears to be designed and built well for the price point. I found the grip fits my hand a little better with the cage than without. Retains access to all camera ports and functions. The mode dial does get blocked a little. Individuals with large/thick fingers may find it challenging to change the mode if you use that feature often.
