Z Wave Fan Control Switch

I have used APC for Apple computer and audio system backups since 1994. They are reliable and work as advertised. Two have been replaced on the TradeUps program. This one is used at this time to provide backup to a Mirage Sub-Woofer. While one reviewer found the fan noise objectionable, my unit sits beside my recliner and even when the fan is on (on cold start for about 10 minutes) I can barely hear it. His might have been defective. My only "gripe" is on the Quick Reference section for the function buttons. It is a little too briefly written for me. I would like to see certain areas that deal with the Master/Controlled outlet Enable/Disable, and right under it, the Master/Enable Threshold Calibration written in more detail. I like this unit. By way of note, my others did provide a pure sine wave instead of a stepped sine wave. I notice no difference with this new equipment.

Switch works as expected, powering 12W of devices across 2 ports, and the fan is not audible at all (Fan level stays at 0). Very happy with the additional ports.

I mounted this directly to the back of an old Bose Wave Radio that I use on my desk. I have a central whole-house audio feed that I sometimes like to listen to through it, but sometimes I just want to listen only to the music through my bluetooth adapter just in this room, so this allows me to easily switch between those two sources with a flick of a switch. Mounting it to the back of the radio with sticky foam tape hides it from the front, and makes it easy to find by feel. I've had it since June 2014, and it's still going strong as of Dec 2019 (5.5yrs).

This is a rather sophisticated UPS; sine wave output, full control display panel (that you can darken if desired). Plenty to like, but know that it does have limitations in how long it will power your equipment. An excellent choice for those short term blips and (using the supplied software)can send a signal to your computer for an orderly shut down. Definitely worth the money, just don't expect it to last for hours ( 10 min. more like it).

I placed this switch in one of my pinch point. It supports speeds at nearly 100% rating. This Network Switch does not have a fan but a large heat sync on the top, so it sits on my desk without adding noise to the work area. I added 10GBaseT Transceiver so that it talks to my backbone at 10 Gbs. Even not knowing whether the CAT6 cabling would support the speed, it did and the performance is solid.

I like that it includes a volume control, a power switch and audio control.

Big fan of the two-way switch that allows you to either speak for a moment, or leave the feed on permanently.

Great fan. So happy to have 4 pin so I can control with my bios fan pattern.

Have only had it for a few days, but I love the power switch and volume control on the remote.

Used this to replace Wave Broadband supplied modem. Plugged it in, called wave to setup, up and running with my Orbi mesh system in just a few minutes. Has been working perfectly now fo several weeks. Very happy.
