Does not require any drivers and much more reliable than AirPlay. I connect this to a Magewell XI100DUSB HDMI USB 3.0 Capture Dongle to stream iPad games to YouTube. 5 |

This small little device is amazing. It converts an HDMI signal to USB without any software/drivers . . . and allows the computer to recognize it immediately and easily. It is totally worth the expense. 5 |

Plugged it in and it works for OBS Studio streaming, no drivers needed. More importantly, it is working to give a quality 1080p image from a Nikon DSLR through a 50 foot HDMI cable. (A different HDMI capture device would not give a signal for this same combination.) 50 feet is pushing the limits for HDMI, so I'm happy not to need an HDMI extender. 5 |

UVC compliant device means no drivers and it shows up in Windows just like any USB webcam. I wanted to use this to bring in the HDMI Program Out of an ATEM into my computer for use as a WebRTC source (Hangouts, Livestream Live Interview feature, etc). It works flawlessly in Chrome with no setup other than selecting it as my default webcam. It also works great in OBS and Livestream for use as an external HDMI input. 5 |

I put 2 of these in our VMix streaming computer. Took a few minutes to install drivers and update firmware, but after that, no issues at all. Currently using 5 1080/60p HDMI streams, and 1 4K UHD HDMI stream. Can’t beat the value of these cards. 5 |
