Zagg Rugged Messenger Keyboard For Ipad 9.7

I recently purchased a Zagg Rugged Messenger Case for my iPad but my 5yr old uses the iPad ALOT so I wanted some extra protection just in case, so I purchased this and I'm glad that I did. It was very easy to install and it doesn't lose the touch sensitivity of the iPad with this glass cover and the screen protector from the messenger case. I feel confident with even as my son handles (and drops occasionally) that my iPad will be safe.

I had to get a new iPad, mine was obsolete. I had a Belkin keypad case on my old iPad Air. So, I looked for a new Belkin keyboard case, only to find Belkin isn’t making them anymore, for which I am sooo happy. If they had I never would have found my Zagg Rugged Book. It took we 3 weeks of researching and watching reviews to find the Zagg Rugged Book. I can see why Belkin is no longer making the keyboard cases. They couldn’t keep up to the quality of Zagg’s products. Now, that I’ve used my Zagg keyboard case, I wonder why did I ever accepted the inferior Belkin keypad case? The Zagg case material is very sturdy, it’s solid. I love the rubbery material around the edges of the keyboard and the screen, this will protect me from bumps and bangs. The magnet attaching the screen to the keyboard is very strong. I was really concerned it wouldn’t hold. I can hold on tp the screen and shake it and it doesn’t come off. I LOVE my Zagg Rugged Book. I finally found the only case I’ll ever need. Thank you Zagg.

My first experience with ZAGG case was a great one. I had the rugged version for a work IPAD. Therefore, I knew what brand of case I wanted for my new IPAD purchase. This case is easy to install and stays in place well. The keyboard has a great layout for comfortable typing. This feature makes my IPAD feel more like a laptop when needed. If you use your IPAD more like a tablet, this may annoy you. You will have the keyboard in your hand when in portrait mode. Great purchase for my needs. The battery life for the keyboard will last for many days. Both IPAD and keyboard both use C Type chargers.

It had worked perfect for my notes and doodling. I have had no issues & it fit perfect with my zagg rugged keyboard for my iPad air 10.9 tablet.

I prefer typing on a keyboard over directly on the iPad, thus the Zagg Pro Keys Keyboard is a great device. The combined weight is noticeable, but the ability to separate the (encased) iPad from the keyboard is a delight. It makes reading or browsing a joy because it is so light. When connected the keyboard is responsive, comfortable, and meets expectations. The case provides excellent protection for the iPad. I have used Zagg products in the past and I am happy to use them again.

I purchased my iPad Air with the Apple Magic Keyboard. That keyboard is great for stationary use of the iPad (for sheer typing, it is better than the ZAGG and comes with a trackpad. However, I did not feel at all comfortable placing the iPad in a backpack with the Magic Keyboard; it did not protect the sides and the Apple Pencil was only secured by the charging magnet (it always came off during transport). With the ZAGG, the iPad is much more protected, and it secures the pencil to the case while also charging. The iPad can remain in the case, while either removed from the keyboard or reversed for use as a tablet. The Keyboard has a USB-C charging port, so an additional cord is not necessary (if only Apple would upgrade the iPhone to an USB-C…). It also holds a very long charge. If you travel a lot or frequently move your iPad, I highly recommend this keyboard.

ZAGG makes a rugged case and keyboard for the i-pad...a bit heavy...worth it for the extra protection...

I got the Zagg Pro Keys (folding/flip out style detachable case with my iPad Air 4th generation and it didn’t cut it. It seemed flimsy for continuously opening and shutting (mobile). It was broken in 4 months of household use. I scrapped it and replaced it with the Zagg Rugged Book and have zero complaints. It stays charged, allows me to take my iPad Air 4 anywhere with confidence, and has well thought out features (volume, playlist forward/reverse) excellent backlighting, etc.). I’d recommend the Rugged Book for anyone who wants a durable keyboard/case. I love it!

This is my second Zagg iPad Rugged Book purchase. For reference, the first one was going strong; however that 6 year old iPad of mine; it had become more of a relic & doorstop. My company got me a new IPad (different size of course), but I could not imagine me not having another Zagg. My new Zagg Rugged Book is even better. Super versatile; impenetrable protection; “forever” battery life … Kudos Zagg!
