Zebra Tlp 2824 Plus Direct Thermal Printer

Needed a short cable to connect thermal printer to computer. Functions well.

The 1.8 to 2.7 is perfect when filming in direct sunlight, you need to shoot at 2.8f, and you are at 800iso. Plus other photography uses too. I have not noticed much color shift. This is a well built VND.

In a direct comparison to Photo Paper Plus II on my Pro 9000, Pro Platinum produces a much cleaner white while reproducing mid-tones and blacks that are more neural as well and lacking in the magenta cast that Photo Paper Plus has. I have no means of verifying longevity, but it does make me feel better about printing on it. Hopefully, I'll get back to you 200 years from now to see if it proves itself out.

Purchasing direct I know that I am getting the right ink with no overage or spilliages that end up ruining the printer.

It was fairly easy to set up and get started with the online and app features. So far I'm happy with the quality of the print and capabilities to make adjustments in app. I love not having to purchase ink for this thermal printer which saves me time and money!

These print well in my Casio CW-50 Thermal Printer and I don't ever recall having a bad burn with one of them. Although they are rated at 16x, I usually burn at 8x and have never had a problem.

I've never had a recording or playback problem with these DVD+Rs and the white inkjet coating works great with my Casio CW-100 thermal disk printer. Not all inkjet coatings work with the thermal printer but the coating on these DVD+Rs works perfectly.

I love this printer. Right selection of media to choose from and no ink to replenish (Thermal) you can print using the app for your phone or a USB cable to print from your computer. Compact and easy to use.

I love that it auto-senses the size of the labels when you load them, so you don't have to configure the software for the labels you select. Switching rolls of labels is fairly simple. This is a direct thermal label printer, so the labels do fade over time, especially if exposed to sunlight (compared to the longer-lasting, thermal transfer labels from much more expensive printers). The labels look fresh and crisp when newly printed and are great for printing postage or shipping labels. The compact size means it's always ready to go without taking up much desk space. Great value and a quality product!

I've been using these discs for several years for my Teac P-55 thermal printer. We've had virtually no issues with them. The lack of spindle is kind of a pain but not a deal breaker. They have a low error rate and look great when printed on with the correct printer.
