I was very pleased to find the 3 Legged Thing Zelda L-Bracket fit perfectly when using the FTZ Adapter. The mounting screw is offset allowing the Arca-Swiss base of the L-Bracket to sit flat on the bottom of my Z7ii. The upright side of the bracket is cut to allow access to all ports on my Z7. I was surprised to find I can mount my camera in portrait orientation will still connecting the wireless receiver of my remote timer. I had seen some reviews that said that was not possible.

The 3 Legged Thing Zelda is a great L-Bracket. It is well made and comes with a small storage pouch for when the bracket is not attached to the camera. The price is also great compared to many other L brackets.

I'm very satisfied with the Zelda L bracket for use with my z7 camera. Fit is flawless, as we know, since the manufacturer collaborated directly with Nikon on its design. L brackets are popular because they allow you to mount your camera onto a tripod quickly in either landscape or portrait orientation. The design, style and finish of the Zelda is outstanding! I love the orange color when used with my z7. I leave the bracket on all the time. It does not interfere with any functions... but one. When mounting on a tripod in vertical orientation (portrait) access to the camera ports is limited or unavailable. If I have the remote trigger release attached to the DC2 port I am still able to attach it to my tripod head, but not the connections. But I don't normally use those connections so its not an issue. I'm using a Peak Design Leash with the camera and attach one connecter to the bottom right of the Zelda and the other connector to the camera's left attachment point. This allows my camera to hang pointing down, which I prefer. I'm completely pleased with my orange Zelda!

I recently purchased the 3 Legged Thing Zelda Dedicated L-Bracket for my Nikon Z61ii from B&H, and I'm very pleased with it! It's solid, fits snuggly, leaves amply room for access to ports, and, most importantly, makes changing from landscape to portrait perspectives very easy! And, with your tripod set to level, it remains level after switching the camera position. Now, there's no more hanging my camera to the side in order to take a portrait perspective shot. I'm happy with the L-bracket, and it will remain on my camera going forward.

The Zelda L-Bracket fits my Z6 as advertised. I can access all buttons, plugs, and battery compartments with ease and it works great with my tripod.

I replaced my RC2 clamp with this that is compatible with Arca Swiss and thus my Zelda L-bracket for my Nikon Z7. The clamp attaches to the top of the manfrotto ball head with an hex screw. The original clamp had a second small screw a little off center to prevent the clamp from rotating on the ball head. I noticed that this head rotates slightly of I turn hard, which has little or no practical meaning.

I just got this L-bracket for my Nikon Z7. All of the L-Brackets for my previous bodies were from Kirk Photo. Very high quality stuff. Nearly perfect. As far as I can tell Kirk does not make an L-bracket for the Z7. The RRS L-bracket is $160 and no doubt is excellent. But, for a brief time B&H had this Zelda on sale for $50. I took a chance. Fit and finish are excellent. Seems very sturdy. Overall I am very impressed and glad I took a chance. The only minor issue is that the horizontal base plate can only be slid onto the A-S mount from left to right (facing the back of the camera). With all my Kirk plates you could slide it on in either direction. On the vertical plate of the Zelda you can slide it on from either direction. This is pretty much of a non-issue but thought I would point it out. For the value I would still say this is a 5 star product. Probably 4.5 considering its more expensive competitors.
