Do not get me wrong, batteries last a lot on the AD300, specially when not using HSS, but you definitely need more batteries if you travel for shoots or just for peace of mind. They work as advertised and haven't had any trouble with them for the past 6 months, definitely recommend, go ahead and get some 5
