This keyboard is so worth the extra money. Touch ID makes it so easy to log in instantly and to use credit cards. The number pad is great to have, and there is a button for easy toggling between foreign alphabets. Truly fantastic. 5

Purchased this to replace an old magic keyboard with white keys and no fingerprint button. I think I will like the black keys because they won't become dirty and require cleaning. Came up with no hiccups and the keys feel exactly the same as the old keyboard it replaces. 5

Wonderful keyboard, touch ID is a great thing to have on the external keyboard. Battery lasts a long time. Only drawback is that it's quite flat ... I put small adhesive bumps under each back corner to raise it a bit for ergonomics. 5

I've been using a 2021 MacBook pro with an external monitor and regular keyboard for about a year now. I bought this Touch ID keyboard recently to avoid having to reach up on my laptop stand to use the laptop's TID sensor. I was happy to see that the new keyboard didn't require an further setup after pairing. TID just started working from the get go. The extended number pad is also very useful. Battery life is fantastic - I didn't have to recharge until a few days had passed. 5

A nice Apple keyboard for those who want Apple keys, solid build yet light weight, and Touch ID is something I use often to return from screen saver or sleep mode. Not back-lit, bummer. Kinda pricey. 5

Touch ID obviously doesn't work but the keyboard is otherwise completely functional with my old iMac--at least for the features I use. Was originally not sure about buying it because I thought it might not be compatible at all with non M* Macs. 5
