I switched from the 2020 iPad Air 4 to the 2021 iPad Mini 6. It is much lighter and more wielding for casual use. For casual news/book readers, safari goers, and video watchers, this is a much better iPad. I only wish the screen could get brighter.

I've been looking for a way to lighten the load while traveling. I used to travel with my iPad Pro 12.9 inch, but found the size to be limiting. Now I leave the 12.9 iPad at home and travel with the Mini 6. I can still accomplish all I need to with a much lighter load. Highly recommended.

I use it mostly to read books but I also use it as a wireless screen when shooting with my SonyA7III, overall a good piece of equipment that is lightweight and has different functionalities

Got this gen 6 model to replace my 8 year old ipad mini and what a difference. Apple's made one of the best tablets you can find today, At 8.3 inches, it's the kind of tablet that would make some ask, why not just buy a big phone? But it's a fantastic size portable tablet that is a joy for reading books and comics, browsing the web and more, all with just one hand.
Apple also added a fantastic screen, excellent battery life and the super-speedy performance of Apple's A15 Bionic chip found in the iPhone 13 to its smallest tablet. Great investment.

Using this device to work on photos using lightroom and photoshop while on assignment. Being able to process and transmit from the field of play gives me a competitive advantage. Excellent device.

Love my iPad mini, is small, easy to carry and a great addition if you don't want to carry the iPad Pro 12 with you because of its size. I find it very useful, allowing me to do many of the things I do on my iPad Pro but in a smaller size.

I debated with myself for a while. I usually max out my electronic devices when I can in order to have it last as long as possible in between replacements/upgrades, but after really thinking about what I'd be using it for, this size is perfect for me. I'm not a pro user - I have a laptop and desktop for heavy work use. This is primarily used for reading, emailing, drawing up overhead plans for film and photoshoots, and a few other film apps. Also serves as a media machine to check color consistency, as well as an entertainment device that isn't too massive to travel with. Battery life is pretty short would be my only complaint, usually gets low on battery if using all day. Otherwise, if you are in my situation where it's not your main work tool but a supplement for certain tasks, this is the perfect companion in between your phone and computer.

This is my third iPad Mini. Waited a long time for Apple to improve it and they sure did. It is a nice upgrade from the last 2018 model. Touch I.D. works just like on my iPad Pro. The only thing I'm still getting used to is where they put the volume buttons. People hate change but this isn't a problem for me. Highly recommend it.
