I prefer the smaller form factor of iPad, and previously owned a second-generation mini. What induced me to get the mini 6 over going back to a full-sized iPad (given the similarity in prices as of the date of this review) is the balance of features. The SoC is only a little slower on a spec list than the same SoC in the iPhone 13 and I have not noticed any slowness during use. The display is a good balance in terms of quality, resolution and size. The front camera is really good for FaceTime. The square edges are very nice to hold compared to the previous mini's rounded edges, and the Touch ID on the power button works in both landscape and portrait. 5

This purchase replaces our 2nd gen ipad miini. Transfer of data and apps was almost painless. Some app data required additional investigation and work, but so far so good. 5

What a difference in performance compared to my iPad mini 4. I have FIOS High Speed with an excellent mesh network and I immediately saw web pages loading in 1/2 the time. Best investment this year! 5
