Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. will this work with FUJIFILM XF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 R LM OIS WR Lens?

A: Yes, the XF 2X TC WR Teleconveter is compatible with the XF 70-300mmF4-5.6 R LM OIS WR.

Q: 2. Can these be stacked?

A: Good question, but the simple answer is not recommended . The reason is that any teleconverter optical stack is optimized to work with a specific set of lens. There is always a bit of a light gathering loss involved. Rather than double stacking, I recommend saving your hard earned money until you can afford the telephoto lens needed and you'll be much happier with your final images.

Q: 3. You think this can be ideal for cover Lee landscape polariser and the holder system when on camera?

A: These fit pretty tight to the lens, so I am pretty confident that it would not fit over the holder system.

Q: 4. Hello again, can someone tell me about image quality and sharpness with the teleconverter? I'm about purchasing this with my 50-140.. I use to photograph my family and air shows. Thank you very much everyone.

A: I use the 1.4 on my 50-140 and the results are excellent. I would expect the 2.0 to be similarly good but I have no direct experience with it.

Q: 5. Which size lens hood would i need for 300mm f2.8 ?

A: I have a Nikon 300 2.8 and I use the XX-Large and it is perfectly suited for it.

Q: 6. Does the 2X Large fit snugly on a Canon 500 L F/4 without the hood attached? When I travel I don't take the native hood but use the Lenscoat portable version which is not attached when the lens cover would be used.

A: For Canon 500mm f4 lens hood is recommended 3x large , for hood cover to fit on the lens without hood you should consider 2x large BH #LELCH2XLM4

Q: 7. Does this fit on the HK-24 Lens Hood ?

A: Yes, the LensCoat Hoodie Lens Hood Cover (2X-Large, Realtree Snow), BYH # LELCH2XLAP, would be compatible for use with the Nikon HK-24 Lens Hood.

Q: 8. will the teleconverters work with the 90mm?

A: Short answer: No, not the way it was designed. Could you get away with it with limited functionality...maybe. It was designed for 2 lens only: the 50-140 and the 100-400.

Q: 9. Will this work with my Fujinon XC 50-230mm lens?

A: Unfortunately, no. It will only work with the 50-140 and 100-400 zoom lenses.

Q: 10. Does this fit on the HK-34 Lens Hood for the Nikon 500mm f4?

A: Yes, the LensCoat Hoodie Lens Hood Cover (2X-Large), Realtree Max4 HD, will fit on the HK-34 Lens Hood for the Nikon 500mm F4 lens.

The cover that comes with the Canon 300mm f/2.8L is a bit large and hard to deal with. This little cover slips nicely over the lens, with or without the lens hood. I use it most of the time instead of the bigger one that came with it...it's quicker on and off. I'm happy with the product in knowing it will help me protect the lens face. I'd recommend it.

I use this cap in lieu of the leatherette cover on my Canon great white lens. The leatherette is awkward to remove and replace, the hoodie is quick.

For Canon lenses that are long and have large glass to cover and the hood is rarely removed from the lens body (because the hood is a great form of protection) the LensCoat Hoodie Lens Hood cover adds greatly to the protection of your expensive glass. In addition, it will easily slip over the black cover for hoods that covers the entire hood and comes with the Black LensCoat Lens cover set that you can also purchase from B&H.

It is very easy to take this off and put this back on vs. the original OEM lens cap. I use this both for convenience in the field, as well as the added protection for the front element while traveling.

Would be handy if they put a couple of tabs on it to enable easier use, i.e. putting it on and taking it off.

This hood cover fits my Nikon 300mm f2.8 lens hood perfectly. Much easier to use then the supplied leather-like hood cover by Nikon. Time will tell how it holds up from normal use.Highly recommended at this point.

Awesome cover, way better than stock cover. This slips on very easily and stays on. I was using it at the air-show, and it never slipped off.
