Enhance your growing small to medium business's wireless coverage by adding an HPE Networking Instant On AP22 Dual-Band Access Point to your network. Designed to cut through signal-dense areas, this indoor Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) maximizes wireless data speeds by supporting the 160 MHz channels, which allows it to transfer up to 4800 Mb/s over the 5 GHz band and 574 Mb/s over the 2.4 GHz frequency with compatible devices. You can provide power and data to the Instant On AP25 through a single cable by connecting its 2.5G Ethernet uplink port to a PoE-compatible network switch or router.

Its two down-tilted omnidirectional antennas support 4 x 4 MIMO technology with a peak gain of up to 4.55 dBi over the 5 GHz band, providing fast and stable connections to devices. The wireless signal is secured by WPA2 and WPA3 authentication while a built-in firewall helps to prevent intruders and bots from accessing your network. You can set the access point on your desk or use the included clip to mount it onto a wall or ceiling. Configure the access point via the HPE Networking Instant On mobile app to set up guest networks, block users, and take advantage of other features.

By supporting the 160 MHz channels, the HPE Networking AP25 indoor access point supports 802.11ax Wi-Fi with a total throughput of 5374 Mb/s over the 2 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands. OFDMA, 4 x 4 MIMO, beamforming, and other technologies allow the access point to overcome interference and connect with a multitude of simultaneous users with minimal interference.

Quickly set up a mesh network to extend Wi-Fi coverage to hard-to-reach areas where it is difficult to install Ethernet cabling.

The wireless signal is secured with WPA2 or WPA3 authentication while a built-in firewall helps to prevent intruders from accessing your network. Instant On access points also have integrated Trusted Platform Modules (TPM) that securely store credentials, keys, and boot codes in addition to two-factor authentication. Opportunistic Wireless Encryption (OWE) support provides secure, open Wi-Fi network access at cafes, retail stores, and restaurants.

Power the Instant On AP25 using a PoE connection or a separately purchased 12V DC power adapter.

Use the mobile app to configure and manage your network from almost anywhere at any time.

Customize guest Wi-Fi experience with logos, authentications, and rules of use. Set data usage per app and limit duration of use. Configure an external portal or service like Facebook Wi-Fi or create open guest networks for quick and easy access. You can also use the Instant On mobile app to apply bandwidth limits for your clients or your network for prioritizing certain primary networks.

Instant On APs can act as routers and handle Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet (PPPoE) configuration with VLAN support. They can also act as a DHCP server, providing IP addresses to the wireless network. Assigning a static IP address on an access point allows users to use the same IP address regardless of where the access point is connected, making it easier to access its setup page for any configuration changes.
