Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. does this support 2336x1344 of the zcam?

A: This monitor does not support that specific resolution, you will be hard pressed to find one that will. However you should still be able to shoot in such a resolution with the Z Cam and output a 1080p signal for this monitor to see.

Q: 2. Will this unit support 1080p60 or 59.94?

A: The device works with 3G-SDI and is compatible with 1080p at 60 fps.

Q: 3. Does this unit switch between salvos without a glitch?

A: It does not. This is not a clean switch.

Q: 4. What cain of cards is included into the MFR-4100? 12G Cards full 72x72 all inputs and a outputs?

A: The For-A MFR-4100 is an empty chassis that you would add input and output cards to. Please review this chart for more info - https://bit.ly/3J2uwGQ Input card - BH #FOFR9SDI12GA Output card - B&H # FOFR9SDO12GA

Q: 5. Disregarding price, why would you get this vs a BMD Videohub or visa versa? Thanks!

A: How many inputs and outputs you need would be a big factor. This is a 32x32 12G-SDI option. BH #BLSVH12G4040 is a 40x40 12G-SDI option.

Q: 6. What would happen if you tried to input one source as 1080p59.94 and another source as 1080p60 (or anything besides 1080p59.94, etc)? Understood the unit will not scale, but will it accept the alt source or just appear black?

A: The AJA KUMO 1616 will route the signal coming in to the desired output but no changes will occur in frame rate or format.

Q: 7. How long is the breakout cable?

A: The breakout cable is 12".

Q: 8. Most high brightness monitors draw a lot of power. Any idea how long a NP-F770 would last compared to the 5" version of this monitor?

A: A battery like the Watson NP-F770 is rated for around 32.5 Watt Hours. This monitor has an 18 Watt Draw. You should expect to get a bit less than 2 hours of operation with an NP-F770. https://bhpho.to/2n2NUHc

Q: 9. I'd like to power this monitor with an Anton Bauer battery. Can you recommend a ptap to dc cable?

A: This FotodioX device should be a very good match: https://bhpho.to/35MPu7i

Q: 10. does this include cables?

A: It includes breakout cable that provides multiple SDI inputs but it does not include any HDMI or SDI cables.
