Plain and simple, for the price, it's nice. Sure it isn't as nice as its much more expensive brother, but you get what you pay for. Me personally? I have two of the models that have two battery slots, and two screens for monitoring. I wouldn't bring this to a wedding or any event simply because I can't see where my battery percentage is. If it were just photo related batteries, sure, but I do a lot of video and need to know when exactly to change batteries. Get it for vacation!

This charger works just as great as my Nikon Charger. I like that I'm able to charge my camera battery in the car. This is a great charger at a great price. MUST BUY!

I haven't had the unit long enough to determine long-term performance, but for the price, this is a great alternative to the way-overpriced nikon charger. Great job Pearstone!! Love the USB port and compact size!!

I lost the charger that came with the D7000 so had to replace it. This charger is almost better than the original - it's compact (no long cord) and I have the option to charge the battery in the car. Shipping to Canada with Purolator was fast and somehow less expensive than Purolator within the country... No issues so far and pleased with the money I saved compared to buying a new Nikon charger!

I own a Nikon V1 and J1 the batterie chargers that come with cameras are 1/2 the size of the cameras, the two of them take up as much space as another camera body in my bag. The Watson charger take adapter plates, so I can carry one smaller charger and adapter plate in less space than either Nikon charger. And it weighs less.

I ran out the door on vacation and left my D7000 Nikon charger behind! While on the road, I ordered the Pearstone charger and had it shipped ahead of me. Thanks to B&H's reliable shipping, it was there when promised.This charger is a much better travel charger than Nikon's. Besides being smaller and thinner than the Nikon, making it easy to fit in my camera bag, the wall power prongs fold into the body. It comes with a European adapter, unlike Nikon. And to top that off, it comes with a car power adapter so you can recharge while driving to your next location, also unlike the Nikon. All this for less than half the price of the Nikon.As for another reviewer's comment about the unit being cheaply built, I am an electrical engineer and I disagree. It is a well built, commercial unit. Just don't use it in the rain! As for the adaptor plate slipping off when you remove the charged battery, the instructions direct you to slip the battery into the adaptor and then plug that into the charger body. That's what is supposed to happen. If you don't like that, then tape the adaptor to the charger and slide the battery into both of them.For $ you can buy another adapter plate for another item in your camera bag. How can you complain? I highly recommend this item without reservations.

The Pearstone Charger is a great replacement for the standard Nikon charger that came with my D7000. Its less than half the cost and comes with more features (car charger, European adapter, and its cordless for regular home charging) Great Buy
