Q: 1. Is there enough clearance to use the EF lens with a RF adapter so I can use the lens on both my Blackmagic 6k and my Canon r6?

A: The EF versions of the Venus Optics Laowa Nanomorph S35 Anamorphic Prime 3-Lens Bundle (Canon RF, Amber Flare) should be compatible with an EF to RF adapter, but it would be recommended to confirm clearance distances with your chosen adapter. Sharp, creamy bokh and easy manual focusing with A7iii
However the only drawback is lens is a bit heavy. Otherwise this lens is highly recommended

Mostly for portraits. It does have the bokah as other reviews on the web have described. I studied those reviews before buying so I can say I received exactly what I expected and am pleased. Suggest you do the same so you understand what does and its limitations. Keep in mind it's manual only. I think it's at its best when wide open. It's a heavy lens so if I don't need it's special effect, I use lighter optics. To me, it's worth every penny. I'm glad I grabbed it before any possible import tariffs are added.

Using this on my Sony a7rii. to say that this lens is sharp just doesn't cut it. you really can't describe the sharpness in words! Build quality is top notch and it is very easy to manually focus by using the focus peaking & magnification. amazing value!

This lens has become my favorite new lens. Bokeh produced from this lens leaves you speechless. Portraits turn out amazing and paired with the Sony a7III couldn’t get easier to get accurate focus.
