The Pro Mamiya ZD Large Format 4x5 Adapter from Fotodiox allows you to attach your Mamiya ZD back onto many types of 4x5 cameras. Once your back is attached to the adapter and mounted onto the camera, the back slides to the right exposing the split-image focusing screen. A: If your sinar has a graflex back then it will fit. My old sinar did. Realize that if you are using a Nikon dslr that has a mirror you will not be able to slide the Nikon very far from center. This is because the distance between the sensor and the front of the camera where the lens would normally mount is too far and the edges will cast a shadow. That space is taken up by the mirror movement and is Calle the mirror box That's the problem I had with this adapter. It's well built but I could only use it near the center of the 4x5 area with my D800E. It should work fine with a mirrorless DSLR like th Sony alpha7 assuming you have the correct adaptor.

A: The unit only works in horizontal direction .You would need to rotate the camera to use this adaptor in portrait orientation.The numbers are guides for repeat positioning.Depending on your camera the guides would represent a certain amount of overlap for the final stitching.

I contacted Mamiya/Phase One and they state there are a couple different ways to use the Phase One IQ250 on a large format camera:1) Set the back into Shutter Latency in where the back is always on and ready to accept a Capture. You can shoot at anytime. The drawback is that the battery wears down faster and it can build up heat. The following cable would be needed for this usage:Mamiya Multi-Connector to Lens Sync Cable (Coiled, 15.7 ), B&H # MAMCLSCL or,2) Set the back to Normal in the Shutter Latency menu.
