A: As far as I know, you can't really use a lens cover on TG-4 since it doesn't used an external lens like an E-M10 or E-PL 7 does. When I looked on Olympus site, under compatible products for lense, the TG series is not even listed.

It will last a long time, if you don't abuse it.

Just an amature photographer but with higher than normal skillset. I love the light weight on the camera and lenses. It is easy to hold and the controls are actually quite easy to use once you spend a little time getting familiar with them. As with the old OM System, the lenses can be changed very quickly and you have tremendous control over the camera in manual mode.

The last roll of film I shot on my OM-2N was about 5 years ago. It sat unused in it's bag with my Tameron 35-70, my Vivitar 70-200, and my favorite 500mm mirror lens. I used a mini slr Kodak for the next few years until the mode select went nuts and I could only use the Idiot mode and panorama. I did a web search to find what Olympus housings could use my great old OM lenses and The E620 was the one I decided on. Came to find it's not in production and the remaining new bodies were between $1000 and $1200! The refurbished 2 lens set was here at B&H and I bought it on the spot. I couldn't be more satisfied with the camera or the great service from B&H.

I've had other Olympus E series cameras and I've always liked the amount of features packed into a small package. Also the Quality of pictures and ease of use are very important. The one thing that I have missed is the rotating LCD. That was my reason for the upgrade and I'm not dissapointed.

Practical and useful light measurement and precise controlqable focussing. A good camera for experimental photography with non-stabilized lenses.

This is my first DSLR. I will be using for family pictures, family trips and also take it with me on long hikes & back packing trips. Along with picture quality, Low weight, smaller size DSLR (for back packing), Live view, Built-In-Image stabilizer, swivel LCD was taken into consideration in my selection. The lens kit that comes with the camera gives you average quality (little bit better than a good point and shoot ). I would get better lenses for the expected DSLR picture quality. The built in image stabilizer is excellent. Very well balanced camera. It feels very good in your hands. I have not yet tried all the other fancy features, but LCD brightness and live view is excellent. If you are flexible on the budget, I would recommend buying just the body and go for better lenses. I wanted a camera and start using for my trip to DC and stay within the budget, hence I bought the camera with the lens kit. Very happy with the photographs on the trip. Overall a very good buy as a kit for that price.
