The small Vegan Leather MoneyMaker in black from Hold Fast is an all-weather, versatile two-camera strap with the same MoneyMaker design and hardware, but made from vegan leather. This strap comes with everything you need to shoot with two cameras, including a pair of camera holdfasts and safety lanyards.

The MoneyMaker is a modern and sophisticated design that allows you to use two cameras and be quicker and more efficient than switching lenses on one. This removes distractions so you can keep your eyes on the scene. Stay balanced with a camera on either side, stay focused with different focal lengths at your fingertips, and get the shots you need without skipping a beat. The strap is easy to maintain and comfortable to wear.

Fit is based on your height and broadness. The ideal carrying position of the MoneyMaker is for the strap to fall about 4" below the armpit so your cameras stay high on your body.

Small: Height of 5'7" and below (if you are broad built, size up)

Medium: Height between 5'8"-6'2" (if you are slender, size down, broad built - size up)

Large: Height of 6'3" and above OR wear extra-large clothing (if you are slender, size down)

An optimum fit ensures the most comfort long term. If the MoneyMaker is worn too loose it will cause the cameras to swing and sway too much, which puts pressure on your lower back. The straps will also tend to move and slip more. When worn properly, the MoneyMaker will be anchored to your body and actually help to correct poor shooting posture by pulling your shoulders upright and back, keeping you and your cameras in line. When the main straps are around 4" below the arm pit area, this will place the clip that attaches to the camera right around your waist line. There should be a good amount of arm bend when your hand is on the camera at resting position.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Need it to hold 7d mark ii, 70-200 24-105 10-22 lenses 1 flash and extras can it?

A: I don't have that exact equipment, but my guess is no. I carry a D800, 24-70, and 80-200 with extras routinely, just not the flash. My recommendation is to purchase it for trial and return it if you're not happy. That's what I did, but I kept it. I get compliments on this bag wherever I go. Richard

Q: 2. Does this model of the Money Maker have the new slide mechanism like on Holdfast's website? Or is it the older round sliders?

A: Yes this model has the most current slide mechanism.

Q: 3. Does the included Two 1/4"-20 HoldFast Accessory Clips work for attaching the quick release plates of most cameras for tripod mounting or do I have to order the HoldFast Gear's The Camera Holdfast Accessory Clip (Quick Release Plate Compatible) B&H # HOCHF02QRP MFR # CHF02-QRP for the price of $33.99 each for two cameras for a two-camera harness?

A: You will need to purchase the quick release clips separately as they do not come with the harness.

Q: 4. Since there are no buckles at chest level, do the shoulder straps have a tendency of slipping off your shoulders?

A: It does not slide off your shoulders. It should fit well and hold your camera gear.

Q: 5. Can this harness be ordered with no D-rings?

A: I'm sorry, no, you would either have to cut them off or try and order direct from Holdfast.

Q: 6. I'm wondering if this will work with a Mamiya 645 AFD?

A: It comes with two mounting lugs, which screw into a standard 1/4 tripod thread.

Q: 7. Is this the new version of the strap or the old version?

A: It is the old version and has since been discontinued in favor of the updated one.

Q: 8. I am 6'2.5 inches tall using two Sony A7 camera's. One will carry the 24- 70 mm the other a 85mm Batis or a 50mm 1.1 Voightlander. y camera's are heavy with these lenses, and I need a secure attachment for crowds in foriegn locations on shoots. ( no snatch and go ). How would the Portrait Extensions work? Will the Large work with my camera's and my height ? I am medium build.

A: The large would be just fine for you. I'm 6 4 and with my Canon 5DIII and the 70-200 it comes to my waist line. Their are straps to adjust for height if it's to long.

Q: 9. How well does the HoldFast Gear Money Maker "Two" Camera Harness do when holding only one camera? Does this harness require always carrying both cameras for proper balance or can you also use it comfortably with only one camera attached?

A: The Holdfast double harness manufacturer says it will work with one camera as well as two. The weight of the single camera is a factor.

Q: 10. Is this for a single slider, of for a pair?

A: It's a single slider. I'm not sure how I feel about them. The original O rings would pinch my arms until I got used to them. The new sliders cause the harness to slide down my back. I constantly have to reposition them.
