Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. I know this says it's for CF cards. I'm looking for a case that will hold the smaller SD cards in their plastic cases. Do you think the SD case would fit in the pockets of this wallet?

A: Certainly! THis is the reason I got this card case. Just leave/put the cards in their plastic cases and put the cases in the card folder.

Q: 2. How is this product attached to the various parts of the lense? and is it easily removed? I normally use Lenscoat but this looks interesting. Tks.

A: EasyCover Cover for Canon RF 100-500mm f/4.5-7.1L IS USM Lens (Forest Camo) has individual expandable neoprene rings which you can easily attach and detach from your lens.

Q: 3. Is this an all one piece cover or several pieces? Is it easy to take on and off?

A: It is made up of 6 pieces that simply slip over the lens. I don't use the piece that covers the lens when fully extended as you can't zoom out with it on. It can be cumbersome when manually focusing or using the zoom tension ring with the covers on. Since I don't often use those features it's of little concern to me.I also cut the clear plastic out of the section that covers the IS and AF switches so they are easier to access.Overall, it's a decent product. It does it's job to help protect the lens and hide the whiteness of it.

Q: 4. will the lenscoat help with preventing lenses fogging up on cold nights? if not, what can you suggest

A: No, LensCoats do not seal the lens and prevent it from fogging up. Weather-sealed lenses will be the most protected from fog and moisture getting into lenses. But regardless of whether a lens has weather-sealing, taking proper precautions like slowly acclimating your equipment to the environment would do more to prevent sudden fogging than anything else. Take a while to move your bag from somewhere warm or wet, to somewhere cool or dry, so that the sudden shock does not develop fog or moisture inside the lens from the sudden change in temperature or humidity.

Q: 5. What do you fill camera beam bags with

A: You can use a variaty of options to fill your LensCoat LenSack Beanbag Camera Support. You can use from dry beans, rice, soil or sand.

Q: 6. With this lenscoat attached, will the lens still fit securely in the Nikon case?

A: The LensCoat is very tight to the lens and like a skin. It should be fine and not prevent it from fitting in the case.It has not been tested specifically but there is usually enough room to squeeze it in to a case.

Q: 7. Will this Lens cover fit my Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 300mm ED 4D?

A: NO. I have both lenses and the new 300E lens is much smaller.Get the proper cover for your lens and everything will line up where it should and function properly

Q: 8. How does the manual focus ring work with this on, if it is one piece? How will it rotate?

A: The individual LensCoat pieces don't bind at the edges, so I've had no issues with using the manual focus at all. Actually the hardest thing to operate are the switches, but you have to expect that if you're going to cover and protect them.

Q: 9. Will this LensCoat large wide lens pouch fit the Nikon 70-180 f2.8 Z lens with the lens hood installed in the reverse position?

A: Yes, the LensCoat LensPouch (Large Wide, Black) will fit the Nikon 70-180 f2.8 Z with the lens hood.

Q: 10. How many pounds of rice, beans, etc., are needed to fill up the beanbag?

A: Weight will depend on the material you are using but the LensCoat LenSack Beanbag Camera Support will hold 0.971 gallon (3.675 liters) of the material.
