With EDID Learn technology, the HDMVplus automatically detects your display and tunes itself to ensure you get a clear picture every time you switch inputs.

USB 1.0 Type-A ports are available for standard keyboards and mice while USB 2.0 Type-A ports allow you to connect additional peripherals like storage drives.

With optional adapters, you can connect DVI-D devices with a maximum resolution of 1900 x 1200 for greater flexibility.

I have been using a pair of these for two 1K monitors switching between Windows (at first W7 and now W10) and Linux (Kubuntu) for several years now. I have never had much of a problem with them. I have always used a wired keyboard with them which suits my needs since I use it on a desktop. I have also always used a Logitech M510 wireless mouse with them and that worked perfectly, including forward/back side buttons which I use frequently in Linux to switch between virtual desktops. I have never had to touch the settings in the KVM, which means mouse emulation has always been on. However, one of them died, sort of. It got worse and worse. I think they must have some kind of low power processor in them that deals with them mouse emulation and keyboard functions. I could no longer communicate with it via the keyboard nor did my scroll wheel or side buttons work on the mouse. Intermittently at first, but permanently at the end. I switched the KM part of the KVM to the other one which still worked fine. I had trouble finding a replacement at some of the other big sites where you might expect to get them, but was happy to see the B&H had them in stock. And, as usual the shipping was prompt. The replacement works perfectly. I expect to get another bunch of years of service from it. 5

Works well. Only slightly annoying is the KVM causes a new audio device message to pop up every few minutes. Silenced the message problem solved. 5

I used this for a tight environment where a server was right up close with a video-camera monitoring system. This device makes it really easy to leave the cameras up, and just switch over to the server when I need to work on it. The small remote-button can be placed where it's convenient, instead of having to figure out how to get the KVM itself to be placed where it's reachable. I've bought several of these, over the past few years, and am always happy with them. 5

The KVM works great. Includes mic and audio switching. I had trouble with a wireless single dongle mouse keyboard with older versions, but it worked perfectly here. 5

I bought two of these to use in a meeting room so presenters could sit at the conference table and display images and audio from their laptops on large HD displays mounted on the wall. The PC data looks great over an HDMI cable and installation is easy as you only need to run one HDMI cable to the monitor. 5

Connected a Lenovo think pad and a MacBook Pro 2014 to a wired mouse, wired keyboard and a 2k display. The only change I made to my setup was I changed the Mac refresh rate to 60hz down from 75. 5

The IOGEAR KVM works flawlessly with my 2 PCs. One PC has the DisplayPort, while the other has the HDMI port. The included KVM/DisplayPort makes connecting the 2 PCs so easy.
