Both the Samsung 990 and the SK Hynix P41 top out at 2TB drive size. If you need 4 terabytes of storage, there isn't anything better than this drive. 5

Installed and formatted in under 5 minutes. Moved over 350+ GB's also in under 5 minutes. A true 2TB available for storage as total cap shows 2.1. So far games are running crispy, and loading fast and smooth. No complaints. This is truly a must have upgrade. At least 1Tb, but I'm glad I went with the 2. Now I'd like to look into a cooling device as this particular drive runs a bit hot, and for the price of these drives, I'd like to protect it as best I can. Buy it!! This is a great deal at B&H at 180 too. Average price is anywhere from 220-250 at most other sites. Can't recommend the WD_BLACK SN850X enough! Pay attention when shopping too, the X is the newer and slightly faster version than the standard SN850. 5

Great price for a 4TB NVME drive. Boots Windows 11 in seconds, very quick loading times even in modern games. Just be careful when you install on your motherboard, if the motherboard has a built-in heat sink, as I nearly bent the thing out of shape and ruined it. 5

So this is my stupidity but you live and learn. I bought this for an Intel NUC PC not knowing (nor is it advertised) that the NUC has heat dissipation built in and will not fit the heat shield on the SSD. I have used SSDs with removable shields and thought this was one of them but the shield is glued to the SSD. Oops. Still works and works wonderfully but don't try to remove the shield. :D 5

Didn't really need the 2 new drives. But glad I got them. The speed is awesome copying and editing files to make updates on large files. Space is great. If you're on the fence, buy it. Remember if speed saves 1 or 2, or 10 mins on every copy or edit. Combine all those mins for other things you can work on, or finish stuff sooner for more you time. 5
