Made of a high-strength polymer resin, this Odyssey Vulcan case features an interior space of 13.75 x 11.75 x 3.75" and comes with convoluted foam under the lid. Q: 4. When the Zoom H8 is connected to power does it recharge the internal 4 x AA batteries?

A: The H8 recorder has no internal batteries, it ships with 4 AA batteries, but those are not rechargeable. You can use rechargeable batteries with the recorder, however; those cannot be recharged inside the recorder, if you connect the unit to a power outlet. You will need to get a separate set of rechargeable batteries and a charger.

Q: 5. I have a zoomH6 but I am looking at the 8 because I need the extra inputs. Does the 8 still records to separate files or does record on one big file?

A: The Zoom H8 can record to separate audio files, as long as Multitrack mode is selected , in the Audio settings menu.

A: The Zoom H5 will fit this case as well.

A: Hi Cameron, The H4N is wider than the H5 and unfortunately will not fit into this case. We do have a custom cut case for the H4N. BH's model is SK3I09074B01. It doesn't look like the rode reporter mic would fit into that case. You could purchase our 3i-1209-4B-C case that comes with cubed foam or you could get our 3i-1209-4B-D that comes padded dividers. Either one of those cases would give the length you need for the microphone and space for the H4N and other accessories.Thank you,Will

A: Yes this case can be locked. You can use TSA Approved Locks.
