Borrowing from the 800 Series Diamond line, this pair of gloss black 705 S3 2-Way Bookshelf Speakers from Bowers & Wilkins place their decoupled 1" tweeters within a tweeter-on-top housing. This housing is milled from a solid block of aluminum to better resist resonance. Combined with a carbon dome, the result is open and detailed high frequencies. The tweeter is joined by a 6.5" Continuum cone woofer/midrange that works to deliver crisp and clean vocals, while allowing you to precisely isolate and hear each instrument. The 705 S3 is ideal for high-end audio playback or as part of an advanced home theater system.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. I have the B&W wedge, how does this compare?

A: The Wedge is a slightly higher end speaker with a newer version of bluetooth, slightly smaller profile, it produces some lower bass frequencies that the Zeppelin does not and the Wedge has a slightly larger driver as well.

Q: 2. Dual voltage?

A: The Bowers & Wilkins Zeppelin Wireless Speaker model that we offer will only work in North America.

Q: 3. Since these speakers have a voltage selector, can they be plugged into a regular household 110 wall outlet?

A: The Klipsch The Nines 2-Way Active Wireless Bookshelf Speakers (Walnut, Pair), BH # KLNINESWN, will plug into a standard North American AC wall outlet.

Q: 4. Is the product compatible with Sony XBR-49X830C TV?

A: If you're using this with the B&W formation soundbar, then yes. This cannot connect to a TV independently.

Q: 5. Does this system works in dual voltage range of 110-220 volts?

A: Yes the B&O Formation Bar is 100 to 240 VAC, 50 / 60 Hz compatible.

Q: 6. Does speaker wire come with this or do I need to purchase separately?

A: Speaker wire is not included with the Polk XT15.

Q: 7. Comes stand for these horns and the cable runs inside?

A: The speaker cables are connected to the two terminals on the rear of the cabinets. These speaker stands would work with these speakers: SANUS NF24B Natural Foundations 24 Speaker Stand Pair (Black) B&H # SANF24B

Q: 8. Do these speakers need an amp? If so, which would you recommend?

A: By no means am I an audiophile, but I purchased two pair for the decks on my new home. Because we are very rural and streaming costs are so high, I connected the to a Sirius radio, thru a Sonos Connect Amp. They work wonderfully, but I would assume any stereo receiver would suffice.

Q: 9. What accessory would I need to be able to connect it to my MacBook Pro?

A: The only input type on the Klipsch Reference R-40M Bookshelf Speakers (Pair), B&H # KLR40MBLK, is a binding post pair, which will accept bare speaker wire or speaker wire connected with a banana plug. To connect a MacBook Pro to these speakers, the simplest method would be by using a stereo receiver. You could use speaker wires to connect a receiver like the Sony STR-DH190 Stereo Receiver (B&H # SOSTRDH190) to the speakers, then connect a MacBook Pro to the receiver via Bluetooth or over a 1/8" aux cable from the computer's headphone jack.

Q: 10. These should be compatible with a Denon AVR-S740H, right? It outputs 75W per channel at 8 ohms, with a specified 4-16 ohm impedance range.

A: Yes this will work.
