Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. I have a 1600 telestep, is 1600E the same?

A: Yes, they are the same.

Q: 2. How do you access the ladder when it is folded and closed in the ceiling?

A: According to the Telesteps Loft Ladder's instruction manual on pages 3-4, once the ladder is properly installed and the ladder frame assembly has been secured to the ceiling joist and door, you simply pull down on the door slowly with the pull down cord to bring the ladder down to use. The attic/loft ladder will be ready for use one the door has been fully opened. You would open the attic/loft ladder by gripping the tubes with both hands and lifting it off the retainer hook and allowing it to open and descend to the floor. There are windows on each side of the rungs/step of the ladder. Once the locking indicator windows turn from red to green when the ladder descends, that will indicate that the sections of the ladder are locked and the ladder is safe to use.

Q: 3. Will the Telesteps 1400E Ladder Replacement Feet (BH #TEF1400E) fit on the Telestep model1205?

A: No, it is only for the 1400E, 1600E, and 1800EP. You can find replacement feet for your model by clicking the link below; https://www.telesteps.biz/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=12

Q: 4. Do you have a replacement part that is compatible with a 1205 model?

A: I tried them for the 1600 model (round tubes) and they didn't fit. The 1800 has oval tubes.

Q: 5. Will these work on 1600 ET?

A: These replacement feet are compatible with the 1600ET.

Q: 6. Do you begin extending the ladder from the bottom wrung?

A: Yes. The following unit rises from the bottom to the top.

Q: 7. Do you have installation instruction or video? I need have to lofts side by side which I need something portable.

A: A link to the installation manual can be found here: http://bit.ly/1K1lsYR.

Q: 8. I have this model of dolly and would like to switch out the wheels for use with a track. I was wondering if it is possible to switch out the wheels, and if it would be compatible with these wheels specifically? a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1189046-REG/glide_gear_gw_100_dolly_track_swivel_wheel.html target= _blank http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1189046-REG/glide_gear_gw_100_dolly_track_swivel_wheel.html/a

A: Without examining the parts in questions as well doing a tear down, it is not possible to be sure. That being said, it certainly looks viable. Here is the parts diagram of the dolly that you may find of help in finding your answer. http://bit.ly/1X60iFo

Q: 9. Elsewhere, when I look at the Telesteps 12es, I see on the pictures that it has 8 steps on one side and 6 steps on the other. Yours on the picture shows 7 and 5. Can you confirm the number of steps of the actual ladder that you ship?

A: The photo is not correct. It does have 8 steps that can be used on one side.

Q: 10. What is the difference between Manfrotto 114 and Manfrotto 114MV?

A: Manfrotto 114MV Cine/Video Dolly is designed for use with tripods with spiked feet, while the 114 is designed to work with tripods that have standard legs. They both have the same load capacity, it is just a matter of the way a tripod is connected to the dolly and the tripods that they are compatible with.
