A: Silican gels have a high boiling and melting point. If you have kept the Ruggard Desiccant Silica Gel Pack - Metal Case at 300 F for 3 hours, it's not fried and it should work perfectly.

This is a good accessory kit for the Nanuk case. The shoulder strap is well-designed: It is wide and comfortable, latches securely to the case but can be easily removed, and the 'Aircell' rubber bumps keep it from slipping off your shoulder. Have not yet used the lock or dehumidifier, but both seem solidly made. 5

I bought 8x pieces and am super happy. Where I live, the humidity is fixed between 70-80% every day. I put 2x bars in my Pelican Vault V300 and was able to get the humidity down to 40-45% with these. The camera body and lenses are safe now. 5
