The SURVEYOR Moisture Alarm, Vacuum Valve & Pump for Canon EOS 5D Mark II from Aquatica offers an added level of protection to the underwater photographer. The SURVEYOR circuitry integrates a water detection function that remains on constant duty when a battery is inserted. Should the slightest amount of water make contact with the sensor probes, it will trigger an alarm using both an audible signal and a rapidly flashing red LED to visually attract your attention. Adding the vacuum pump and pressure valve to your housing will make it possible, by creating a vacuum inside the housing, to fully test its sealing integrity. Once the easy-to-follow procedure is completed, a green LED blinking every five seconds will inform you that your SURVEYOR system is monitoring your camera housing and you're ready to dive. In the event that sand, hair, or other foreign matter would compromise the housing sealing integrity, the SURVEYOR warns you with both an audible signal and a rapidly flashing red LED signal.

This kit includes the moisture and vacuum sensor circuit, a pressure valve with retaining nut, a vacuum pump, mounting hardware, a container of O-ring lubricant, and a CR2032 battery.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. It is possible to buy the Canon log to place it in a Canon 5D Mark IV that does not have it

A: B&H sent an e-mail to customers that Canon is now offering to install Canon log into previous Mark IV cameras at their service center.

Q: 2. What is the body of the mark IV made of?

A: Canon 5D IV is made of magnesium alloy

Q: 3. Shutter count?

A: Canon EOS 5D Mark IV DSLR Camera with Canon Log BH #CAE5D4CL • MFR #1483C082 is new, never used before, it does not have a shutter count.

Q: 4. Does 5D Mark IV have audio annotation to embed into a file? Potential firmware upgrade?

A: No. Unfortunately. And dont ever count on it. Canon seems to think only people who need the tank construction of a 1D need audio notes. Sad.

Q: 5. HDMI for canon 5d mark 4

A: The Canon EOS 5D Mark IV DSLR Camera uses a Mini HDMI connection. The Pearstone Active Braided High-Speed Mini-HDMI to HDMI Cable with Ethernet (3') would be a good option, BH #PEHDC03ABRD (https://bhpho.to/3N4cYJY).

Q: 6. Does the Canon Log comes in Canon Log 1, Canon Log 2 and Canon Log 3, like in the C-300 Mark II?

A: When using the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV DSLR Camera with Canon Log is "C-Log" not 1,2, or 3.

Q: 7. Can I use this camera with ATEM mini pro?

A: Yes. This camera has a clean HDMI output that is compatible with that Switcher.

Q: 8. What are the HDMI output specifications in the C-log version?Any recommended recorder compatible with those? Thanks!

A: This camera can output 1080i 59.97i, 1080p at 59.97P, 29.97p, 23.98p, and 24.00p for NTSC and 50/25P for PAL. It outputs 4.2.2 color at 8-bit. It only outputs 1080p even when in 4K Mode, but it retains the 1.74x crop while in this mode. I use an Atomos Ninja Inferno with mine. There are some menu settings that you will have to hunt for to enable this, but it is worth it.

Q: 9. is it better to have 45 pixels or 30 pixel for a camera?

A: If one is using the camera for video, the less MP(30) the better, cameras with high MP require much more processing to reduce the files down. The 4Kvideo frame is only 8MP a frame, and an HD frame is less than 2MP. If one is shooting still photos that will be blown up very big, and the photographer needs to crop down to a tiny section of a photo, 45MP is better.

Q: 10. I am looking for an HDMI cable for a canon 5d mark 4 that is usb-c

A: You will have to get an hdmi mini to usb-c adapter.

I already have the Canon5D and felt it was time to move on to something better. Having looked at the 5D mark III and the Mark II, I chose the latter as it more than fulfils the needs to handle pro, semi pro and advanced amateur photographers needs. Full of features and top notch quality.

I started back into photography 2 years ago after many years of a point and shoot. I picked up a Canon T3 for an re-entry into the DSLR world. What I found astounded me! I was hooked again! I wanted a better quality, higher ISO, Higher Mp camera and the Canon 5D Mark II fit that bill perfectly. I read 100's of reviews and all were spot on, This camera has a quality build, reliable and delivers on it's promises. It is NOT however, for amateurs. Unlike the T3, you must have your ducks in a row when it comes to operation of this camera, Dependence on the semi auto modes on the T3 limits ones creative ability until one is brave enough to get off Auto. Your world awaits you and will astound you with the 5D Mark II. Once all of the buttons are figured out, navigation to the subsettings is a breeze with the ability to navigate all with 1 thumb! This may be the last camera I will need for many years to come. Canons forward thinking to include all of the features that are imperative to a quality photograph have been incorporated into the Mark II. The Video capabilities exceeded my epectation as well. It is two, quality devices built into one! Now, all that is left is go out and find YOUR creative side. You find the shot, the Canon 5D Mark II will deliver the picture!

The EOS 5D Mark II Digital Camera is a terrific piece of equipment. It exceeded my expectations. The best part was the B&H price with the instant rebate. I have owned and used Canon cameras since 1982 and this is the best one I have ever used.

fantastic basic FF body for the price. a lot of newer cameras in this price range are more versatile but the mark II quality is proven and consistent.
