Should the slightest amount of water make contact with the sensor probes, it will trigger an alarm using both an audible signal and a rapidly flashing red LED to visually attract your attention. Adding the vacuum pump and pressure valve to your housing will make it possible, by creating a vacuum inside the housing, to fully test its sealing integrity. Once the easy-to-follow procedure is completed, a green LED blinking every five seconds will inform you that your SURVEYOR system is monitoring your camera housing and you're ready to dive. In any event you will need an entire rig to handle this.There is an alternative if you are indoors with access to 115vac power. There is another adapter for the GH-4 that connects to AC power, and again the monitor has an AC power adapter that came with it.
