The L39 Mount Lens 28-90mm to Leica M Camera 6-Bit Lens Mount Adapter from Metabones allows an L39 Mount 28-90mm lens to be attached to Leica M cameras. The appropriate 28-90mm rangefinder frame lines are activated by the adapter. Remember, this adapter is for screw mount lenses. Screw mount lenses were NEVER six-bit coded. Mine brings up the 35mm frame lines in the viewfinder. That being said, I use it with a Voightlander f:5.6 12mm lens. I find that the setting for an older F:2 35mm Summicron works well. 5

This adapter is a lightweight solution to mounting an L39/M39 lens to your Sony E mount camera. It's constructed of brass as described with no electronics or glass in between. Not much to say of a device so simplistically made other than it does what it's suppose to do! 5

Mine does not look like the picture at all. It is made from a single piece of aluminum not brass but it works as advertised. I would definitely buy it again if I ever needed another one. 5

I purchased this adapter to use with a Sony A7ii and two Voigtlander lenses, a 35mm f2.5 and a 50mm f1.5, and the adapter fits properly and produces great photos with these two sharp primes. 5

Unlike some other LTM adapters, this one works with Leica LTM lenses that have an infinity lock. The infinity lock button presses down a little lower than the lens mount, so the mount has to be higher than the rest of the adapter. 5

Used it on a Voigtlander Color-Heliar 75/2.5 MC L39 lens while waiting for a Voigtlander Ultron 75/1.9 MC VM lens. Didn't use the six-bit coding option (101101), but I could have. (Both lenses were surprisingly close in rendering and composition, although the older lens was slightly more telephoto, and the newer one is slightly more than a half-stop faster.) Adapter recommended. 5

i think i just grabbed the cheapest one. however this adapter is much more leica-ish than the micro4/3 adapters of eight years ago. lens doesn't rock around in the body even when using an old fed (russian) lens. 5

Works as advertised on Sony A7M2. I use with both a Canon 50mm f1.2 and a Komura 135mm f2.8 lenses from my old Canon 7 rangefinder film camera. Am purchasing another of these so I do not have to switch between lenses. 5
