Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. does the 82mm M10 kit CPL vignette on a sony 14mm f1.8 lens?

A: The Haida M10 Adapter Ring for Sony 14mm F/1.8 GM Lens needs this M10 holder: https://bhpho.to/2MW4TMm. Then it can use this M10 polarizer filter: https://bhpho.to/2MW4VUu. An 82mm filter will not fit the Haida M10 Adapter Ring for Sony 14mm lens.

Q: 2. Hello are you selling only drop in filter mount, i had this kit but broke my adapter and i dont wanna pay extra money for the filter. I need only mount, thank you

A: I'm sorry but we do not sell the mount separate.

Q: 3. what kind of gasket for blocking light is in the set? no picture on box or desciption

A: The gasket is included with each filter. Unfortunately Haida does not provide a photo of the gasket.

Q: 4. Is this compatible with the NiSi 46mm Natural Night Filter?

A: Yes, the Sigma Filter Holder with WR Circular Polarizer RCP-11 Drop-In Filter would be compatible with the NiSi 46mm Natural Night Filter.

Q: 5. What size m10 kit should I buy to fit my sony 14mm f 1.8? I assume the large 82mm will work (it also fits my 24-70 GII).

A: You would need this holder: https://bhpho.to/3oP3O9T. And this adapter to mount it to an 82mm lens: https://bhpho.to/2MW02L9

Q: 6. Can a drop in filter frame (w/o glass) like Kolari Vision B&H#KORDROPEMPT be used in lieu of the clear filter (w/ glass)?

A: The Canon Drop-In Filter Mount Adapter EF-EOS R with Circular Polarizer Filter only works with these filters at this time, https://bhpho.to/4ebpvc7 and https://bhpho.to/4dZOr66.

Q: 7. What is the actual diameter of the filters, and are they smooth or notched or threaded? I would really like to install narrowband 2-inch astrononomy filters.

A: Compatible filters are in a proprietary mount and no diameter size is given. There is no accommodation for any non-proprietary filters using this filter holder.

Q: 8. Will this work with full frame cameras, specifically red v raptor?

A: The Canon Drop-In Filter Mount Adapter EF-EOS R with Circular Polarizer Filter is designed for Canon RF cameras with a full-frame (36x24mm) sensor. The sensor of the Red V-Raptor is 40.96x21mm, so it may not fully cover the sensor when shooting 8K.

Q: 9. Will they offer the drop-in filter adapter with both variable ND and circular polarizer?

A: This system is only available for use with 1 filter at a time. We are not aware of them offering an option that will allow for 2 filters.

Q: 10. Can two filters be inserted in the Canon Drop-In Filter Mount Adapter?

A: Unfortunately you cannot. This system is for 1 filter at a time only.
