Q: 1. How is the difference between headset battery & Hub battery?I can not found battery accessory.

A: Both the UltraLITE headsets and HUB utilize the same battery. Unfortunately we do not currently offer the replacement battery separately.

A: Yes, the microphone on the Eartec UltraLITE headset has an internal switch that automatically mutes the mic when the boom arm is moved so it points straight up.

A: 7 users max in one location with the UltraLITE system. 6 wireless, with one additional wired to the HUB. Not expandable currently.

Q: 5. if I use 4 entire sets of this unit in a common space for 4 different user groups. will they work flawless without any crosstalk or interference.? also can I connect 2 or more Hubs together to get a larger common user group?

A: No, it is not possible to use four separate Eartec systems simultaneously in the same general open space because they would interfere with each other. However, the signal is not able to travel through walls or floors, so if the systems are placed far enough away from each other with walls or floors between each system, they could be used at the same time. But in one open space multiple systems cannot be used at the same time. It is possible to link two Eartec Hubs together to create a larger single wireless intercom system that will accommodate up to 16 users.

Q: 6. These are party line and are muteable? Or is there no PTT function?

A: The UltraLITE system does not have a PTT option. Once connected all units are able to communicate hands free in an open line communication pattern. Headset mics can be muted by lifting the mic boom to its upright position.
