Mount your monitor on the 1/4"-20 threaded male screw and tighten it using the top-mount thumbwheel; a rubber pad helps prevent metal to metal damage. You can insert the included Allen wrench in the holes in the thumbwheel for additional leverage. Once you have set the position of your monitor, you can lock it in place by tightening the set screws on the mount with the Allen wrench, so the mount will hold its position.
