For the money, this stand works just fine. Plenty sturdy, light weight. I'm thinking of adding some kind of no-skid to both trays. Not easily portable, but it's portable, and once everything is locked into place, it stays locked. 5

There is absolutely no way this simple stand can be manufactured for less than what I paid for it. The material and build is top-notch. I use it as a laptop stand next to my bed or sofa while at home as well as a projector stand when using for presentations at work. The load capacity is very impressive and remains stable in my many application of this stand. The portability makes it very convenient to transport between home and office. 5

I use mine for laptops and other percussion gear on stage and it works very well. My wife uses hers in her artist studio to hold paint palette and sketches/photos at proper working height. She loves it! 5

I have been very happy with this stand so far. Does it feel like a high end piece of equipment? Not exactly with some of the plastic compression clamps and I will need to see how it holds up over time but so far it is very sturdy and reliable and has not given me any reason to be concerned about the safety of my equipment on it. For the price this is a great value for a laptop stand and I would absolutely buy it again. 5

I just started using this device and it works as a lectern and as a stand for my 6# projector. Nice height adjustment and good table tilt adjustment. The tension adjusting screws work very smooth. Overall a really nice device for holding my projector or as a traveling lectern. 5
