Simply attach your video head's plate to the bottom of the adapter and mount the plate on the fluid head. This allows your fluid head to accept an Arca-Swiss or Arca-Swiss compatible plate. The bottom of the adapter features a 3/8"-16 threaded hole with a space for a locating pin, as well as three 1/4"-20 threaded holes. This allows you to easily attach your plate to the bottom of the adapter, whether it uses a 1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16 mounting screw. You can also use the included 1/4"-20 to 3/8"-16 adapter bushing to convert a 1/4"-20 screw to 3/8"-16.

The adapter features precision-machined lugs and receivers that allow the top of the adapter to rotate independently of the base. A: Yes but I would be concerned about using really big glass. This is my favorite head for field work but the 80-200 2.8 is biggest thing I would put on it.

A: The difference between the Arca-Swiss Monoball p0 Ball Head with Classic Quick Release and the Arca-Swiss Monoball P0+ with Classic Quick Release is that the P0+ has a friction control. You can preset the friction level and find it again as soon as you untighten the tightening ring.
