This lens has been great so far. It takes amazing images of the night sky. The f/2.8 aperture allows ample light on those long exposures. It also does well for landscapes. Have yet to take any images over ISO 1000 so I can't comment on that yet. Autofocus is fast and smooth. I'm still getting used to pulling the focus ring toward the body to switch to manual mode, but I'm sure with time it will be second nature. Used with Nikon D7500.

I have used this lens for about five years on my Nikon d5200, and hands down it is the best lens of this type for any money you could buy. The only thing that would make it better would be image stabilization, but you won't go wrong with it. The image quality is great edge to edge.

The first time taking this lens out was just amazing. The images are sharp and I at least cant tell if there is any distortion with it being a wide angle. For the money spent it has a very premium feel to it. The only thing that took a little to get use to was the changing from auto focus to manual focus but it took me only a little bit and I was fine. Over all it’s a wonderful lens and I’m very happy with it.

This lens is super sharp and captures the perfect wide angle shots. Note for anyone with a Sony a6500 this lens auto focus does not work with that camera. Other than that I love it!

This lens has been fantastic in the short time I've used it. Mainly for video production so far, the image is crisp and sharp, distortion is at a minimum when pointed straight forward, and the 2.8 aperture is awesome indoors. If you're a pixel peeper, I suppose you'll find something wrong around the edges, but I'm not too fussy when the images I've created have been superb for video. I'll try in on some astrophotography soon and add an update following. However, I highly recommend this lens for wide angle video needs.

I was incredibly surprised by the sharpness of this lens. I ended up getting some real estate business and needed a wide angle on the fly. The Tokina came through. I use it all the time. 11mm is a little wonky with slight distortion but I mainly use 12mm on photo and 16mm on video. Autofocus is a bit noisy but so are my sigma. I feel like the 11-20mm is probably a better deal but my other glass is all 77mm filter thread so I went with the 16. Haven't had a single regret buying and have considered getting the Tokina 105mm. It really is a great lens
