A: You can use this controller with the AX100, however you would need to get two adapters for it. First you would need a LANC to A/V R adapter and then an A/V R to Multi Terminal adapter. If you wanted to avoid using adapters Sony makes the RM-VPR1 controller which is very nice and simple.

A: This controller, for me, doesn't have a delay but it will lag just a bit if you press it for a full quick zoom. It works perfectly if you need a nice slow, smooth zoom. I think there are other models that have a quicker zoom if that's what your looking for.
