The 77mm, 1/8-density Antique Black Pearlescent Filter from Tiffen makes skin tones warmer and uses a black pearlescent component to maintain deep blacks while preserving shadow detail, especially in the face. The result is a softer image without excessive halation or loss of contrast.

The filter features glass optics and an aluminum ring threaded on both sides. It's made using the ColorCore process, which laminates the filter substrate between two pieces of optical glass, and then grinds and polishes them to a precise tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch of flatness.

Q: 1. What is the volume of this backpack (in liters)?

A: I'm sorry but that information is not given by the mfr. Interior Dimensions 17 x 11 x 4.5" / 43.2 x 27.9 x 11.4 cm

Q: 2. Does the bag endure rain okay?

A: The ONA The Leather Clifton Camera and Everyday Backpack is made of canvas and full grain leather. This backpack will endure a little bit of rain, and features a life time warranty. To make the bag more water resistant one would apply some canvas wax bar: https://bhpho.to/2M9Fqi3

Q: 3. Do these filter IR?

A: Hoya ProND EX 3-Filter Kit (77mm) does not filter IR.

Q: 4. Are there any pros and cons between this Zeiss CP and a B+W Kaesemann CP?

A: I second the last reviewer. I have purchased and used both. Despite having a brass ring, the B+W has stuck to my lens thread. I even have a 72mm C-Pol filter by B+W with out of round adjustment ring. The worst part is that the polarizing film even has specks of dust trapped on the underside and mildly lifted at a small part of the edge (which I wasnt expecting for a Kaesmann). And there is even a part where the polarizing film was not even timed to meet the metal ring, leaving a micro gap prone to light leakage. Very disappointing for a B+W filter, given the price point. Otherwise, the optical quality was great. I have had mostly good luck with B+W filters except for this 72mm C-Pol and another 6-point star filter. Probably a QC issues at Schneider. The Zeiss is something else. The quality and craftsmanship are in a different league. The first thing you will notice when you open the package is the quality of the packaging. The filter comes out dust-free, a strong indication of a high-end facility from where it is produced. Dont be fooled by the aluminum ring. It easily tops all B+W filters I have ever used in terms of ease of attachment and removal. The machining of the threading is so precise it prevents any sticking at all. I have had zero issues in this regard. Optically, it is definitely no worse than B+W. but I dont know if it is better. QC is top notch just like any Zeiss products. Dont be discouraged by the fact that the Zeiss filter is made in Japan. Japanese are equally proud of their craftsmanship as their German counterparts. The extra cost is definitely worth the quality. All my future filters will be Zeiss.

Q: 5. Is it water resistant? Does it have water repellent coating?

A: The coatings associated with the PolarPro 82mm QuartzLine Circular Polarizer Filter also result in an improved beading effect when in contact with water or oil, allowing for more efficient cleaning.

Q: 6. Does this have a very noticeable color shift?

A: B+W 67mm MRC Basic Circular Polarizing Filter does not have noticeable color shift.

Q: 7. Does this come with the same case / cover system that the McKinnon Variable ND filter comes with?

A: It does not. The PM Variable ND Signature II comes with its round unique protector (hard cover + rubberized cover), and the Quartzline CPL comes with a square hard case with magnetic closure.

Q: 8. Can you use the lens hood on a Nikkor Z 24-70mm f2.8 S lens with this CP filter?

A: You can use them together but it will be difficult to adjust the polarizer.

Q: 9. Is there any place to keep a water bottle on the outside of the bag?

A: You can fit a small water bottle on the side of this bag however we would not recommend it due to the material.

Q: 10. will it fit a sony 200-600mm lens

A: Yes, the Sony 200-600mm has a 95mm front filter thread, so this filter will fit.
