This enclosure is very reliable with the latest ASMedia 1153 chipset. - Discrete aluminium, black matte finish. - Comes with all screws needed to secure 2.5 drive. - Includes USB 3.0 cable. - On/Off Switch. - Works on USB bus so no clunky power adapter. I am using 3 with my Mac setup and the stackable design keeps a small footprint. I also purchased Crucial SSDs from B&H to use with this enclosure. Super fast. I appreciate B&H for selling a great product. 5

Got this to put an old 7200RPM HDD out of my laptop when i upgraded to SSD. Getting the same transfer speed with the drive in the case that I got when it was in the laptop (when connected to USB3 port). 5

I had an old 2.5 hard drive that I had salvaged out of a failed SeaGate enclosure. The problem with this hard drive was that it was an odd size, 15mm tall, so I was extremely limited in my choices for enclosures, and this seemed to be one of the only ones that could accommodate it. This little enclosure is great. It's constructed fully out of aluminum, no flimsy plasticky parts in here. Very easy to install, hard drive fits perfectly, and sits very secure inside the enclosure. I don't feel worried picking the thing up, throwing it into a bag and taking it place to place. When it's all set up I get very fast read and write speeds as promised, limited only by your hard drive RPM or your SSD rating. 5
