This will crop out the edges so the effect may not be as controlable as with a full frame. The APS-C works to our advantage when using a telelphoto because it only uses the center of the image so in effect magnifies the image. However it works against us when using a EF wide angle lens. The EF lens might be rated at 35mm but your field of vision in the cmaera is more like 50mm. This is also true with the Lensbaby. It is and EF so works best on a full frame. If you want a good wide angle look for EF-S lens. Then a 35mm wide angle lens is a true 35mm.I learned these lessons the hard way.
