Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Just wanted to confirm, this does not include any phone/tablet mount?

A: The SmallRig VT-20 Aluminum Mini Tripod with Ball Head does include a smartphone holder. Here is everything that comes in the box: - Smartphone holder - Carabiner ballast hook - Allen wrench - Limited 2-year manufacturer warranty

Q: 2. Can this be used, effectively, to mount an AX53 and Rode VideoMic Pro on a Selfie Stick? Can the ball head handle the weight? Can it be tightened properly?

A: The Oben BD-0 Mini Ball Head has a maximum load capacity of 6.6 lbs. The Rode VideoMic Pro Compact Directional On-Camera Microphone only weighs 3 oz (0.19 lbs), so the Oben BD-0 Mini Ball Head would easily handle the weight of the microphone. As the de VideoMic Pro Compact Directional On-Camera Microphone has a 3/8 -16 thread on the bottom for use on boom poles and audio equipment, you would also need to purchase the Oben 3/8 -16 to 1/4 -20 Reducer Bushing, B&H # OB1039, which would allow you to connect the microphone to the ball head.

Q: 3. Will the SmallRig L-Shape Grip For Nikon Zfc BH #SM3480 • MFR #3480 fit tripod in place of the QR plate?

A: The SmallRig VT-20 Aluminum Mini Tripod with Ball Head has a standard arca clamp compatible with the dovetail on the SmallRig L-Shape Grip For Nikon Zfc.

Q: 5. Which country is this made in?

A: The PGYTECH MINI Reverse Ball Head country of origin is China.

Q: 6. You say "Arca-Type and SnapLock Compatible". Does this mean the base will also attach to a PFYtect snap lock?

A: The PGYTECH MINI Reverse Ball Head uses a SnapLock plate that is Arca-type compatible and mounts in one easy step (rather than having to loosen the tension screw and slide the plate on the QR base). The system has an added safety lock to prevent it from coming undone like traditional quick release plates. The keywords are referring to the the quick release plate feature.

Q: 7. This ballhead has the ability to use either 1/4 -20 or 3/8 -16 according to package. But I can't figure out how to change it to fit my Platypod for the correct fitting. The one it comes with is too small. How do I change it?

A: If you google 1/4 to 3/8 adaptor I think you will find an inexpensive fix. They won't let me include a link.

Q: 8. I'm confused if this adapter fits on a typical light stand stud? What exact size is the stud it is designed for? Thank you.
