Perfect for live applications, the base is a little large but works perfectly for a long boom and large diaphragm microphone (doesn't tip over). It's also very light weight. 5

Very stable when used with the Rode NT1 microphone assembled on the SMR shock mount. Despite not being heavy, the base is long enough towards the front to prevent the assembly from tipping forward. 5
