I was mislead by the point three as well, but it is still better than the 2.5 or a bit more that conventional filters of this type yield.Hope this helps.

A: Due to its relatively thin profile, it should not cause vignetting on a 15-35mm. However, in the event there is some, it would be very, very minor.
